While summer is still on and the sun is out, 2KW are imploring you to take a trip up to the rooftop for their 2K Sundays series of events.

Kicking off at midday on Sunday, 27 January, everyone’s favourite McLaren Vale pizzeria, Pizzateca, is popping up in the venue, slinging a concise five-pizza menu alongside deejays and the restaurant’s stellar bar lineup.

“The 2K Sundays banner has given 2KW an area where it can play in a different arena,” assistant venue manager Sam O’Leary says.

“A lot of the time we are a more premium style restaurant experience, and for the Sunday thing it allows us to relax a little bit and play around.”

Pizzaiolo (and formidable drummer) Tony Mitolo will jump on the decks for a set, as will fellow deejays Matt Oakley, Faint One and Rocky.

The event is free entry, and if you’ve got the capacity to gather a crew, the fully serviced cabanas can be booked for a $1000 minimum spend.
