It’s been a little while since the dedicated vinyl merchants at Clarity Records have been able to throw their full (180-gram) weight  behind Record Store Day – the global celebration of the revived physical music storage format – but they’re bringing back their 24-hour trading day in 2022.

The store will open as the clocks strikes midnight on Friday, 22 April, and the doors will not close again until Saturday, 23 April, all so you, dear collector, have the most opportunity to fin the special release you have your heart set on.

As longtime RSD attendees know, there are no guarantees in Record Store Day shipments, but you can browse the full roster of Australian releases here.

In addition to the general fanfare of the new RSD drop, Clarity will also have its own 2022 event merch (t-shirts, totes and stickers), there will be vegan cupcakes, and the shop will also have a bunch of new general stock on hand, and more than a thousand newly acquired second-hand records.

There is well more than 24-hours of crate-digging to be done, so get in early (late?).
