Enzo Fazzari has announced he will close the popular Enzo's Ristorante in May, but his children's hospo ventures will continue his legacy.

The Port Rd venue’s last day will be Saturday, May 4, after 25 years of serving authentic Italian food in the western suburbs.

Enzo’s daughter Natalie Fazzari told CityMag in August that her dad’s service made every guest “feel like they were VIP”, and contributed to their decades of success.

“The top things that people comment on Enzo’s experience is the service from Damiano and how he just made people feel special… you know they were being looked after,” Natalie says.

Fans of Enzo’s food won’t have to look too far however, as Enzo’s at Home will still be in business. The Italian-style ready meal service was established in 2004 by Enzo’s sons, Matteo and Alex Fazzari.

Natalie told CityMag in September that her Rundle Street restaurant, Enoteca, which she opened in September 2023 with her fiancé Alessandro Ennor will continue Enzo’s ethos.

“Being in the family business and growing up, literally being born into Enzo’s, it’s given me that great experience and an experience that not many people have,” Natalie says.

“It’s a nostalgia thing. I grew up feeling Italian and being around the dialect and being around the salsiccia, and the sauce, and doing all those cultural traditions.

“At the end of the day –that stuff we live in. It’s the same that we try to bring on the plate.”
