Treat your dad this Father’s Day

If you’ve left your Father’s Day plans to the last minute… don’t worry, we’ve got some ideas for you.

Father's Day
  • Words: Lauren Mills

Jacob’s Creek

2129 Barossa Valley Way, Rowland Flat

Head up to the Barossa Valley for the 2023 Father’s Day Festival at Jacob’s Creek. This free event is the perfect place to take the whole family to celebrate this Sunday. They will have food, wine and spirits as well as face painting, lawn games and a new FIFA soccer installation. Don’t forget to bring along some outdoor chairs and rugs… and it might be a good idea to register for the event so you don’t get turned away if the venue gets full.

Garcon Bleu

108 Currie Street, Adelaide

A nice splurge is this Father’s Day Buffet de Brunch. Though on the pricier side with $129 tickets, this French restaurant has curated the perfect menu to please the whole family. They haven’t divulged all the incredible dishes they will be serving, but Crepes are promised. Book in quick.

Royal Adelaide Show

Adelaide Showground, 39 Goodwood Road, Wayville

The show starts this weekend and although there aren’t any Father’s Day events being held, what would a father like more than to spend the day with his family at the show? With everything from rides, animals, comedy, food and fireworks… it’s the perfect place for the whole family to celebrate this Sunday.

La Boca Bar & Grill

150 North Terrace, Adelaide

La Boca is promising an unforgettable experience this Father’s Day. The Argentinian restaurant has a scrumptious menu set to wow your dad that serves up everything from oysters to empanadas, to beef brisket and churros. The food will not disappoint, unlike the jocks and socks. Book your tickets here.
