Doggo Candles by Jenna Lee Candle Co

There’s no substitute for the sense of ease and relaxation that comes from lighting up a wooden wick – the delightful perfume enveloping you as you’re entranced by the dance of the flame. Candles spread happiness as far as their aroma carries, whether used indoors or outdoors. Dogs, too, are known to spread happiness wherever they travel (indoor or outdoor), so you can only imagine the power of these candles from Jenna Lee Candle Co. They’re an adorable decoration and come in black, white, light and dark brown and grey. You can also request a custom colour. Each candle is just $10, so they’re affordable too.

Eloise White Pearl Vase from A Flat Shop

For some, the polite enquiry of ‘Where did you get that?’ from a visitor inspecting the objects on your sideboard is an ego-inflating thrill. For others, ‘What is that?’ evokes the same feeling. This pearl vase from Adelaide-based ceramicist Eloise White is crafted from porcelain and coated in a pearlescent glaze, making it a beautiful curiosity. The vase can be used to house flowers, carry liquids, or it can stand alone. It’s available in two more sizes, each with its own unique proportions, with our pick measuring roughly 16.5 cm high and 5.5 cm wide at the base. The pearl vase is available at A Flat Shop for $200.
