High spirits for West End cocktail trail

Love a good cocktail? Love trying new places? Love to walk? The Urban Cocktail Trail is just the ticket to satisfy all three passions.

Urban Cocktail Trail
  • Words: Lauren Mills

The Urban Cocktail Trail is run by Neighbourhood Events Co, a company that designs tours through bars across Australia and New Zealand. It’s hitting Adelaide as a perfect opportunity to gather your friends up and spend the afternoon celebrating the artistry and fun of a beautifully-made cocktail.

Happening on Saturday 16 September across the West End, you can start your afternoon off with some food at any of the bars and then make your way around the self-guided trail to redeem your cocktail vouchers.

The trail takes you to eight incredible venues across the West End… you’ll visit Bank Street Social, Clever Little Tailor, Electra House, Hains & Co, Leigh Street Luggage, Malt & Juniper and The Strathmore Hotel.

Each venue has its own signature cocktail that is available with your voucher.

Whether you want to try the Grapefruit Sour, the Pulp Fiction Volume 2 or the Blush and Spice, there’ll be something to tickle your tastebuds at each bar.

You can choose to stop and sip at any of the eight bars, or settle in at one of your favourites.

There are two different tickets for the tour: The Connoisseur ($92) and The Trailblazer ($75). The only difference between the two is deciding how many cocktails you want to try.

Both tickets give you a $10 food voucher to use at your nominated starting venue and then depending on which ticket you decide on, you’ll get either six or four cocktail vouchers to use at any of the venues.

The Connoisseur packages are selling fast, so it’s best to get in quick.
