Collaborating with Australian Interior Designer & friend of the brand, Annabel Kerr to bring the vision of V&W Rundle Street to life, the label’s sustainable philosophy & Australian made signature is echoed throughout every decision and detail.

From the bespoke furniture and lighting crafted by local artisans, to the lovingly sourced vintage tokens that adorn the space, everything is considered and sympathetic to its environment.

“The colour palette embraces muted warm tones of beige, cream and forest green. The soft shades of green are a homage to Adelaide, inspired by the beautiful gardens and parks that surround the city,” Annabel says.

Testament to Viktoria & Woods’ popularity and fashion credentials, it recently began trending on TikTok for their Sistine Corset. The minimalist corset is famous for its versatility and ability to turn any casual clothing into a fashion-forward outfit.

What sets Viktoria & Woods apart from other fashion retailers is their effort to be sustainable and create looks for the conscious consumer.

Not only do Viktoria & Woods use fabrics such as Global Organic Textile Standard-certified organic cotton and recycled wool coating, they have an ongoing commitment to repurpose and donate excess fabrics and archive stock. The brand is also passionate in its pursuit of minimising waste practices to limit its carbon footprint.

The label sets an example, leading from the front in the sustainability and charity space. They donate and partner with not-for-profit organisations such as Hopeworks, Fitted for Work, Thread Together and Plastic Oceans Australasia.

In addition to manufacturing the majority of their garments locally while using natural fibres, 70 per cent of their clothing range is made in Australia, taking inspiration from the country.

Landlord and Maras Group CEO, Steve Maras said “we are thrilled to have attracted and secured Viktoria & Woods for their Rundle Street East flagship store and are confident that the brand will be a runaway winner in Adelaide and will help to attract other great fashion brands to the East End”.
