Everything Led Me To Here commemorates photographer James Hartley’s transcontinental journey from Australia to New York, chronicling the tipping point at which he decided to take the plunge and make a permanent move to the US later the same year.

Remarks

Everything Led Me To Here is showing for one night only from 5.30pm-7.30pm at RHD, 83A Hindley Street (enter off Clubhouse Lane), Adelaide.

A collection of summer vibes, wild adventures, and good friends serve as a gentle reminder that summer is always on the horizon, even in the depths of a snowy New York winter or amid hail storms in Adelaide.

After showing at Ed. Varie in New York, James bring Everything Led Me To Here to RHD for a fleeting one-night only show.

The exhibition includes an installation of more than 100 C-Print photographs taken across Jamaica and America. A limited edition zine – also entitled Everything Led Me To Here – has been designed by Tyrone Ormsby. Forty pages full colour and saddle stitched, it measures 148 x 200mm, and will be for sale on the night.
