Adelaide Oval

Adelaide Oval is after a full-time retail hospitality supervisor to work on some of the city’s biggest events. The role includes weekly inventory ordering, stock rotation and control management of their retail outlets and working with the retail team. Plus perks like access to event day tickets and discounts across Adelaide Oval, RoofClimb and Oval Hotel.

Catherine House

Catherine House provides accommodation and support services for women experiencing homelessness in South Australia. They’re looking for a fundraising and database administrator to join their team part-time to cover a maternity leave contract. 

The role involves processing and receipting donations, fundraising income and other revenues. They’re looking for someone with experience in a not-for-profit organisation, experience with fundraising platforms and CRM databases among other skills.

The sando craze stretches beyond city limits, with Ernest Deli at Hahndorf providing the goods. They’re after a front-of-house leader to grow the deli, with experience essential and 25+ hours up for grabs at first with the possibility to go full-time. If you’re after flexible, casual hours they’re also hiring an all-rounder to lend a hand in the deli.

Hurley Hotel Group

Hurley Hotel Group own eight South Australian hotels including the Hotel Royal and the Arkaba, both of which have been revamped to strike a balance between maintaining the pub’s history and ushering in the new generation with a fresh look.

They’re after bar and wait staff at Hotel Royal and the Arkaba. There are several positions up for grabs, with varying hours at the Arkaba or 15-25 hours at Hotel Royal. If you have hospo experience, they want to hear from you.

Jenny’s Bakery

Known to many as the original home of cronuts in Adelaide, Jenny’s Bakery is after front-of-house staff and baristas to work 30 or more hours per week from Monday to Saturday, with no Sundays or public holidays.

Milligram

Stationery store Milligram recently opened its first South Australian location in Rundle Mall and CityMag has spent many a lunch break admiring their diaries, planners and testing pens.

It was in doing so we spotted a sign on the counter saying they are hiring a store manager to lead their Rundle retail team. If you’re a stationery enthusiast, email your resume to hello@milligram.com.

McGregors is a new private event space from the team at Peter Rabbit, due to open late 2024.

They’re looking for a motivated and experienced hospo legend to join the team as a cafe front-of-house and bar supervisor, working across both venues. With at least 30 hours available, the role could be full-time for the right candidate.

They are also after a casual kitchen hand or junior cook for 15–20 hours per week.

The Lakes Resort Hotel

The Lakes Hotel are looking to fill multiple full-time, part-time and casual roles ahead of the festive season. They’re after bartenders to work in their sports bar, Tunki bar and for weddings and corporate functions.

If you land the role, you could work across any of their function or dining spaces, from the laid-back Knots Kitchen to Tunki Ceviche & Woodfire Grill boasting Peruvian and Japanese flavours.

You’ll need your RSA and solid knowledge of all things food and beverage. TAB experience and gaming license or previous experience in hotels is helpful, but not required.
