This week is your final chance to secure a ticket to our annual 40 Under 40 awards – a celebration of the state’s most enterprising young people, with the added bonus of great South Australian food, drinks and music.

40 Under 40 2021
Thursday, 10 June
Adelaide Convention Centre
North Terrace, Adelaide 5000
Tickets and more info

There are limited seats still available for the event, to be held next Thursday, 10 June, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, where the top 40 for 2021 will be unveiled.

If you’re the sort who enjoys sneak peeks of your favourite Adelaide-made print products, the event will also be the launch party for the next print edition of CityMag, which includes profiles of all the winners.

We can’t give any hints as to who’s made the list, except to say they’re an impressive bunch who we’re excited to have the opportunity to rub shoulders with on the night.

The ticket price includes a three-course dinner, premium South Australian beverages from Alpha Box & Dice, Pirate Life Brewery and 23rd Street Distillery, and the opportunity to chat to South Australia’s newest crop of young leaders.

There will be live entertainment from singer and guitarist Daniel Cameron and the party will carry on courtesy of some deft DJing from Sam Lavers.

Winners of the 2020 40 Under 40

The key speaker on the night will be Michael Waite, a South Australian who made his name oversees running the finance and accounting departments of firms Bentall Kennedy and Cascade Investment, owned by Microsoft founder Bill Gates. He also played professional tennis on the International Tennis Federation tour.

His most recent claim to fame, though, came following his return to South Australia, where he has resurrected local journalism in his boyhood home of Naracoorte.

For more information and to purchase a ticket to the awards, head to the 40 Under 40 website.
