Hong Kong street food is coming to Hindley Street.

Bank Street Vietnamese food sensation Sit Lo is getting a sequel.

Husband and wife foodie team, Phuong Thai Nguyen and Vinh Nguyen, will be bringing Hong Kong street food to Hindley Street with their upcoming space, Honky Tonky.

Taking over the former Go-In Hot Pot Train spot (currently plastered with CityMag Print pages), Honky Tonky will be located just around the corner from the couple’s first space. The designers behind Sit Lo, Studio Alumni, will be working with Phuong and Vinh again to create “a Kung Fu/Manga comic strip feel” in the new venue.

Phuong and Vinh are tight-lipped on the menu, but have promised a traditional street dessert that “we know everyone’s gonna go nuts for”.

They sure know how to keep a magazine intrigued.
