Ichitaro Dining

Modern Japanese dining has taken a while to get to Australia, but now it’s here we should all be prepared to lose our minds over how awesome it is.

Ichitaro’s back of house is headed by charming chef Nobu, who spent 20 years working in Japanese kitchens and then another few running a fine dining restaurant in Sydney before decamping to Adelaide for this project. Front of house is under the control of Adelaide hospitality star (and all round great guy) Akira Takahashi. With this combination running the place, Ichitaro would have a hard time being anything but excellent. Subtly delicious food that brings a contemporary touch to the Japanese styles with which we’re familiar, a matched sake list, and beautiful interior top everything off.
