Something sessionable this way comes.
Coopers Session Ale pouring at your local
Summer is right on our doorstep and we at CityMag can already taste the sprightly effervescence of sessionable brews cooling us down as temperatures in our un-air conditioned office rocket skyward.
Making a strong ploy for Drink of the Summer 2018, Coopers have released their Session Ale, and in doing so have threatened to knock this writer out of his Sparkling Ale habit.
The beverage makes good use of its Melba and Galaxy hops, creating a bright and light tasting brew, despite the middle-of-the-road 4.2 per cent alcohol content, and although there is that familiar Coopers tasting note we couldn’t imagine life without, courtesy of the secondary fermentation process, it’s an entirely different, and remarkably on-trend experience.
At this stage, the beer is only available on tap, so keep an eye out at your favourite Coopers-affiliated venue for the new blue label.
Cheers to warmer nights and Session Ale jugs at the Ex!
