La Moka is a partnership between the irrepressible Manuel Francesconi, his wife Linda Mercorella and friend Antonio Frasca. Joining the Peel Street brigade, La Moka occupies the old Comic Book Shop space that has been given a facelift by designer extraordinaire Adam Johnson. La Moka embraces the all-day aperitivo concept with coffee lovingly made on an Italian lever-driven espresso machine for the morning, café food and an extensive wine list for the afternoon and bite-sized food accompanied by cocktails mixed by two Italian bartenders to see you through to the 2am closing time.
