Harvest Rock II will take over Rymill and King Rodney parks with a roster that’ll satisfy live music lovers across generations and genre preferences.

Iconic rock stars and international dance music acts will converge on Adelaide over the last weekend in October, with festival-exclusive performances from eight-time Grammy winner Beck and acid funk icons Jamiroquai.

They’ll be joined by Nile Rodgers & Chic, Paul Kelly and Bright Eyes, with Aussie highlights including Sydney rockers Ocean Alley, Adelaide mainstay Bad//Dreems and indigenous singer Thelma Plum.

The party will last into the night on Saturday with a ‘Decade DJ Set’ from Australian producers Flight Facilities, while US rapper Santigold will bring her electric vibes to the stage on the Sunday.

Keen-eyed indie heads will also spot cult icons Built to Spill on the poster, as well as New Zealand singer Ladyhawke, Australian star Julia Jacklin, and LA-based Warpaint.

Chet Faker, Chromeo, Baker Boy, Sam Barber, Sparks, The Lemon Twigs, The Rolling Stone Revue and Vera Blue round out the lineup.

There’s plenty more to be announced too according to organisers Secret Sounds.

“We are so excited to present another weekend of incredible music, food, wine, and good times at Harvest Rock II,” Secret Sounds co-CEO Jessica Ducrou says.

“We’ve lined up some of the world’s most iconic international artists, alongside stellar talent from our own shores, and paired it with the best food and wine offerings from South Australia.”

Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison said last year’s inaugural event brought 24,000 festival goers to the heart of Adelaide, with nearly one-third of those visiting from out-of-state.

“This year, with Australian exclusive performances by international headliners and an impressive list of iconic artists from across our nation and abroad, the wonderful momentum of Harvest Rock is only set to grow,” Bettison said.

Tickets go on sale on 9 August for the festival which will be held on 28 and 29 October over multiple stages.
