Who would have expected that in 2015 a new contemporary arts organisation would be founded in South Australia? Not us, that’s for sure.

But then there’s this new branding everywhere, reminiscent of Neville Brody’s work for the Face and entirely cutting through our cluttered visual landscape.

Performance & Art Development Agency (PADA) was founded by Emma Webb and Steve Mayhew this year dedicated to producing new artworks as well as networks and public programs with multidisciplinary artists.

Near and Far is an exhibition of live artworks exploring distance, time, communication and personal agency. Agency – we love that term.

We highly encourage you to take yourself (such agency) along to the Queen’s Theatre this weekend. Entry has a “pay what you feel” vibe but you can totally book online prior – because: AGENCY!
