Carclew acknowledges ‘Embodiment‘ takes place on Kaurna Country, and we pay respect to Kaurna elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
Embodiment portrays personal feelings from these young, emerging artists who have transformed them into a multidimensional exhibition reflecting on their own identity, encounters, experiences and artistic practice.
The exhibition represents an immersive, multi-sensory experience dispersed across the Carclew grounds.
Through engagement with art installations and performance, this exhibition brings attention to the viewer’s presence in the space and is influenced by their interactions with the work.
It will encourage you to become more aware of how we each individually experience and interpret the world in different ways.
