Real Food Real Wine is a yearly program offering premium dining experiences that pair authentic Asian cuisine and premium wines for Adelaide diners – a guided tour of Asian food and culture in Adelaide.

On Tuesday, 16 March, Real Food Real Wine will be stopping by makers of one of the city’s best eggplant dishes, Bai Long Store

Attendees can expect seven wine pairings from Two Hands Wine, alongside nine dishes from the restaurant.

“Chinese cuisine is not just chow mein, Korea not just kimchi, though, for many, a quick dose of a national dish is as far as we ever get,” a blurb describing the event says.

The Bai Long menu will include sashimi, crispy eggplant, crackle pork, a secret dish and dessert, paired with bottles of shiraz, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon and a fortified muscat.

But the night doesn’t end there – a traditional Chinese zither performance is on the bill, too.
