Every year, The Big Issue gathers together some talented chefs and producers to provide a long lunch for a bunch of warm-hearted Adelaideans, all in the name of raising funds for the benefit of people who are experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.

This year’s Big Lunch is happening on Sunday, 28 July at the Adelaide Central Market and will feature Tasting Australia’s director, Simon Bryant, Hilton Adelaide’s executive chef, Brent Assam, and My Kitchen Rules attendee and founder of Food According to Bree, Bree May cooking up a meal made from local donated produce.

The event’s four courses will be matched wine wine from Yalumba, beer from Mismatch and cider from Lobo.

All proceeds will support The Big Issue in South Australia and help people in need.

There are just 400 seats available, and tickets are available online. For more information, see the event page.
