City of Adelaide’s NYE Celebrations
There are a lot of great places to spend New Years Eve in the Adelaide CBD, but none quite like the Adelaide Riverbank.
Kicking off at 6pm, right through ’til 1am, the City of Adelaide is throwing a helluva party at Tarndanya Womma Elder Park, with a free-entry evening of family entertainment planned, and two incredible firework displays presented by Homestart.
City of Adelaide’s New Years Eve 2018
6pm-1am on Monday, 31 December at Tarndanya Womma Elder Park, Adelaide Riverbank.
There will be live music from Max Savage & the West End Dirty Thirty, Donnarumma, Alana Jagt, The Monotremes, China Roses, Tim Whitt, Mudra Dance, the City of Adelaide Pipe Band, and the Antipodean Rock Collective – made up of members from legendary Australian acts, Spiderbait, Jet, Powderfinger, You Am I and The Wrights.
There will be 20 food vendors dishing up grub, dedicated booze areas, water bottle refill stations, a kid zone for the little ones, and the first Homestart fireworks display will go off with a bang at 9pm.
You can also party with a clean conscience – the event is plastic straw-free, and all packaging used by the food vendors is compostable and can be disposed of in the green bins on site.
Happy New Year, and we’ll see you on the Riverbank!
