The saying goes that no one in Adelaide is every really appreciated until they’ve left.

James Hartley left, and he’s certainly appreciated – the Adelaide-born photographer lives and works in New York City. He’s back home for a bunch of seconds though, and in those seconds he’ll be launching his book, titled II.

The 44 page book, which was printed in NY,  is a look at the work James has created in his recent working career.

Once books have been bought and small talk has been made, the gathering will jump across the street for an after party with The Cashew Crew at Ancient World.
