Dog owning whisky and gin lovers across Adelaide have been handed a gift from Gilbert Place bar Hains & Co, as they open up their outdoor drinking space to you and your best mate.

Yappy Sundays is a dog-inclusive event happening each and every Sunday at the venue between 4pm and 6pm.

“Well, I have a dog. And whilst I know I can take Ajax out to cafes with me, I am always on edge, worried about the owner or the other patrons, or that he will bark or something, or annoy someone,” says Hains & Co venue manager Cody Banks, pictured above with Ajax.

“So at Hains we decided to hell with that, let’s get everyone in with their dogs once a week, and let everyone relax with their best mate and their friends.

“A good drink in hand, and a pig’s ear for your dog to chew on, in the open space here at Hains. What could be better on a lazy Sunday afternoon?”
