Widely regarded as one of the world’s premier saxophonists, New York-based Will Vinson has performed and recorded with a veritable who’s who of the contemporary jazz scene.

His two 2020 albums, four forty one and Trio Grande, featured Tigran Hamasyan, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Gilad Hekselman and Antonio Sanchez, and received enthusiastic acclaim.

Performing at the recently unveiled new Adelaide Fringe venue, The Queens on Playhouse Lane, Jazz Times Vinson will be joined by some of Adelaide’s finest jazz players: double bassist Lyndon Gray, drummer Angus Mason and special guests guitarist Django Rowe (28 February) and pianist Matthew Sheens (21 March).
