Opening from 5pm on Thursday, June 29 at the Samstag Museum of Art, The Summation of Force is the latest exhibition from Trent Parke and Narelle Autio.

While the artists are mostly known for their photographic work, this exhibition will be their first collaborative foray into moving image and sound installation.

The Summation of Force will pitch “competitive sport and the mythical power of cricket as a metaphor for life and parenthood,” in a work that “speaks to collective dreams, youthful determination and the bonds that sporting ambition can create both within families and nations.”

The exhibition will run until 1 September.
