Summer at Adelaide Festival Centre

Remarks

The Adelaide Festival Centre’s summer programming runs all the way through December, January, and February. Find out more about al the included events here.

Flying firmly in the face of Adelaide’s questionable tradition of becoming a ghost town over the summer break, the Adelaide Festival Centre is maintaining a strong program of events over the warmest weeks of the year.

Led by the widely-acclaimed Club Swizzle – where drinks are served almost as readily as the acrobatic and virtuosic entertainment – the season stretches through December and January.

Other highlights include The Rocky Horror Show – the now-classic tale of two clean cut kids getting caught up in the sexually and musically charged world of Frank N Furter – played to perfection in this original script remounting by Craig McLachlan.

The Centre is also presenting the Adelaide French Festival in January – a new addition to the summer festival calendar that brings an array of French culture – including the chance to drink, eat, and dance under the stars with So Frenchy So Chic in the Park – to the city.
