Julia Robinson has created an ambitious new site-specific work for the Art Pod at the Adelaide City Council premises.

The structure is huge – absorbing the entire height and width of the gallery. Julia, who you may know for her works in sculpture  continues her conversation with mortality in this new installation.

Structure for navigating an unknown afterlife is a speculative model for a journey from life to death that may act as both a resting place and transitional vessel. “It suggests an attempt to trace the untraceable, to chart a path between worlds,” says artist Julia Robinson.
