There are a lot of great reasons to pull up a pew at The Colonist on Norwood Parade this spring.

There’s a new cocktail happy hour, weekend brekky, and with warmer weather starting to pop up every so often, the good folks at the Col have organised plenty of reason to drop by.

Throughout the week, visit for their daily happy hour, which runs from 4pm ’til 6pm, with rotating monthly wine, beer and spirit products at special prices.

If you’re feeling fancy, from 10 October, Friday nights are oyster nights, with $1.50 oysters over the bar, paired with cocktails from their 8pm ’til 10pm cocktail hour (available Thursday to Sunday).

For weekend catchups, Saturday and Sunday meals go from 9am to 2pm for breakfast and 12pm onwards for the pub’s new a la carte menu, which has classic pub fare and small plates to be enjoyed either in the dining room or alfresco.

Shake off the last of your worries the work week begins again with a relaxing Sunday sesh, which has all the week’s happy hour offerings plus there will also be live acoustic tunes along the Parade from a rotating roster of beloved local musicians from 4pm ’til 7pm.
