Spirit Festival 2017 kicked off this week, and there’s a full roster of comedy, music, performance, visual art and workshops running right through until Sunday, November 5.

On Saturday, November 4 from 11:30am at Wauwi (Light Square), the festival will celebrate the 25^th anniversary of the landmark Mabo Decision with performances from Getano Bann, Keriba Sagul, Monwell Levi, as well as many other musicians and dancers from Torres Strait Islander communities.
