So Frenchy So Chic

The French pop garden party, So Frenchy So Chic returns to Adelaide’s riverbank in January 2019 – the first stop on a national tour by French musicians Camille, Yelle, Clara Luciani and Cléa Vincent.

Camille Dalmais is no stranger to Australia with previous tours and her hit 2005 song “Ta Douleur” reaching number 26 in Triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown the following year. Yelle is signed to Dr Luke’s vanity label, Kemosabe Records and releases punchier music for late night fun times and Clara Luciani and Cléa Vincent have an indie and jazz sound respectively that encourages us to imagine a perfect, building tempo throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

Tickets.

CityMag is pleased to partner with the So Frenchy So Chic for a special event and welcome the artists to Australia with a party at La Buvette on Gresham Street. Each of the artists will be officially welcomed to country in a Kaurna smoking ceremony on January 10th and all ticket holders are invited to attend. It seemed only right that, before we party in true French fashion with champagne and cheese and pop, we should first immerse them in what is truly authentic about this place.

So Frenchy So Chic is the perfect midsummer party at a point in the calendar where family obligations have died down and the year hasn’t quite come into view.
