The Commons Studio on Young Street will host its first exhibition this Friday, 5 July, with Adelaide photographer Jack Fenby’s Shibuya.

“It’s a series of photographs that I took while standing in the middle of the Shibuya Intersection in Tokyo. A place that I’ve always been drawn to due to its busy-ness and regulated and automated movement,” Jack says.

Shibuya’s opening night kicks off at 4pm on Friday and is BYO booze. Groundfloor Radio will also be on site providing tunes.

Jack hopes to draw a crowd looking for a space to hang out and “check out local art, rather than going straight to the pub after work ,” he says.
