Paws at the Pub
Despite CityMag’s constant protestations, pubs have not yet come to the obvious conclusion that our pals with paws should, as a general rule, be welcomed into their establishments. This is a crime.
Paws at the Pub is happening at The Curious Squire, 10 O’Connell Street, North Adelaide on Sunday, 17 September from 12pm onward. See the event page for more details.
Perhaps we’ll have to wait until the country can afford another $122m postal plebiscite to see this great social injustice righted, but until that time, every so often a publican in the CBD finds it in their heart to let us invite our best friends out for a pub meal.
The Curious Squire on O’Connell Street are not only welcoming pups, they’ve prepared a Curious Paws menu just for them, all the while raising funds for RSPCA.
The event kicks off at 12pm, with every woofer through the door receiving a welcome treat. This is how society should work.
