Every time CityMag releases a print edition, we reach out to a few friends in the music industry for recommendations on which gigs we should definitely have marked in our calendar.

We spoke to Kim Roberts, general manager at Music SA, who told us to head to Thebbie Theatre for ONE12 Festival.

ONE12 is happening over five nights throughout June, and we’re midway through the series, with the third show happening on Friday, 18 June.

“Really excited to see five nights of 100 per cent South Australian bands at the Thebarton Theatre, including the Empty Threats, DyspOra, Kitchen Witch and more,” Kim says.

On Friday, Bitchspawn, Hey Harriett, Seabass and Stabbitha and the Knifey Wifeys will take the stage, in no particular order. They four bands will rock, paper, scissors in order to decide on the playing order.
