Whilst by now we’re sure you’ve found a way to help with the relief and recovery efforts following the devastating South Australian bushfires this summer (if not, see our guide to how you can donate directly), there are also a whole bunch of venues and brands getting on board to aid the process, coming together to raise money for one or a few of the charities and organisations on the ground.

Remarks

NOLA Karma Keg Tap Takeover
28 Vardon Avenue, Adelaide 5000
From 12pm, Saturday, 25 January
More info

NOLA is just one such venue, offering you the opportunity to drink beer to aid in bushfire relief, with their Karma Keg Tap Takeover event, happening this Saturday, 25 January.

The NOLA crew has gathered together 16 kegs, all from South Australian breweries: Ministry of Beer, Pikes, Mismatch, Hills Cider, Western Ridge, Suburban Brew, Lobethal, Barossa Valley Brewing, Brewboys, Big Shed, Reckies, Smiling Samoyed, Prancing Pony, Little Bang, Uraidla Brewery, and Beer Garden Brewing.

In addition to sales of these kegs going to Blaze Aid, the CFS Foundation and the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, there will also be a fundraising raffle, offering the chance to win a year’s supply of NOLA fried chicken (or tater tots).

NOLA’s fundraising target is a nifty $10k, so rock up from midday through ’til 2am and do/drink what you can for the cause.

For more information, see the event page.
