Have you always wanted to do the ‘Single Ladies’ dance, where, in the video clip, Beyoncé impossibly swivels her hips on sky-scraper high heel shoes? Adelaide’s own diva Kween Kong – real name Thomas Fonua – is offering a path to get there, with two free dancing-in-heels workshops at Roxies.

Thomas is a professional dancer and choreographer with Australian Dance Theatre in South Australia, but also moonlights as the fabulous drag queen Kween Kong, and is the mother of drag collective Haus of Kong.

If you’re game, learn how to dance from a professional mover-and-shaker at the East End venue tonight and tomorrow.

Expect camp tunes, an open bar and “positive vibes”. You don’t need to go with any dance experience but with an open mind.

Wear something you can sweat in and bring some heels. Kween Kong will see you on the dance floor.
