CityMag has been delving into Adelaide’s local music scene in recent years, and we’ve found an incredible amount of talent – and not just on the side of artistic performance.

Adelaide also has a bunch of keen minds working inside the cogs of the grand music industry machine, tuning it to their will.

One such industry talent is Adelaide-raised, States-based (when not amid a global pandemic) Kate Cudbertson, who CityMag profiled way back in 2016.

Kate manages musicians the likes of FKJ and The Sundrop Garden and has had her artists appear on such lauded stages as Coachella and Glastonbury. While she’s back in town, Northern Sound System have invited her to come onto a livestream and speak about her experience working as an artist manager at this level, and field questions on how it might also be possible for a hardworking and passionate person like yourself.
