Herb Armstrong live in the NOLA Laneway
Yeeeah soo turns out NOLA have located the Louis Armstrong’s grandson, and have convinced him to perform in their laneway pop-up during the Fringe.
Described as a “big man with an even bigger voice,” Herb Armstrong lived a prosperous life as a performer before he moved to Brisbane. Born and bred in New Orleans, he lived the dream of performing the famous Bourbon St and French Quarter clubs, and shared stages with the likes of Bobby Womack, Missy Elliot and the Neville Brothers.
He is now here. In Adelaide. Performing on Rundle Street.
At NOLA, Herb will perform Zydeco and Second Line grooves in an interactive floor show, as well some of his grandfather’s greatest.
And it’s free.
