Nalini depicts bizarre humans and mammals which resemble creatures of folklore in the form of spinning cylinders. Meanwhile, shadowy figures loom above through abstract video footage projected on blank walls, accompanied by sound.

A contemporary take on ‘what could’ve been’ and ‘what could still be’, Gamepieces creates conversation about imagination and the past, all the while the multimedia elements of the installation engage the other senses.

With an expansive collection spanning five decades, Gamepieces is just one of Nalini’s many works depicting change and beauty.
