The first event will occur on 3 November, and will feature artists Aly Bennett, Cortex and Shuriken Cell.
Developed as part of a Carclew Fellowship awarded to Grace Marlow to focus on curatorial live arts programming, Follow That Feeling invites artists spanning disciplines from sound art to writing to think through improvisation as a guiding prompt for working.
It aims to answer whether improvisation can be a subversive tool in a world that prioritises rationality and logic, how improvisation might be a way of valuing intuitive felt responses to the world, and wether the method of artmaking can be thought of as a feminist methodology.
