The weather is finally hotting up, the skies are staying lighter and brighter into the evening, and the chairs outside The Colonist in Norwood beckon.

Knowing how popular this spot is going to be when summertime hits proper, there is extended seating along The Parade, and plenty of space still along the side street entrance.

The pub offers an all-day menu of pub plates and smaller shared dishes, the perfect accompaniment to a quick (or extended) catchup with your mates.

Happy hour runs form 4pm to 6pm from Monday through Friday, with $1 of all South Australian pints (of which there are many to choose from), $1 off wines by the glass, $5 off wines by the bottle, and $12 for Gin & Tonics.

On Saturday and Sunday, happy hour is one extra hour happier, running from 3pm ’til 6pm, during which cocktails are $12.
