Doge Day Afternoon at Alpha Box & Dice
The Doge Day Afternoon takes places on Monday, October 3 from 10am-5pm at Alpha Box & Dice, while the Mismatch Brewing Co Picnic Ale Pre-Launch takes place on Sunday October 2 from 10am-5pm, also at Alpha Box & Dice.
Alpha Box & Dice invite all well-behaved dogs and their humans to come hang out at the Cellar Door this Monday to celebrate the long weekend.
Mismatch and Hommus Where The Heart Is will be back, along with special guests Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP). GAP will be on-hand with newly-adopted greyhounds to explain to people how they can become involved and what difference the program makes to the lives of both dogs and foster families.
And just in case you’d like to spend the majority of your weekend in the Vale (highly recommended), Mismatch will be holding a pre-launch event for their Picnic Ale at Alpha Box & Dice on Sunday, with the new beer exclusively available at the winery over the long weekend.
Accompanying the sound of people greatly enjoying the new release, will be the sound of several excellent local musicians, including folk songstress Delia Obst, ‘oriental psychedelic’ band Zen Panda and roots singer-songwriter Banjo Jackson.
