Colours of Impressionism at the Art Gallery of SA
Today marks the beginning of the Art Gallery of South Australia’s new exhibition, Colours of Impressionism: Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay.
The exhibit, which includes 65 Impressionist masterpieces from the renowned collection of the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, charts the revolution of colour that lies at the very heart of Impressionism.
A rare moment for Adelaide, masterworks by Monet, Renoir, Manet, Cézanne and more will be set against the backdrop of the Art Gallery of South Australia’s nineteenth-century Elder Wing.
The exhibition will be open every day, with daily guided tours at 11am, 2pm and 3pm.
