There are plenty of returning local favourites, such as Threefold Design, Ettie Ink, and jeweller Anja Jagsch, as well as some from interstaters, like Overland Studio and Pixie Linen.

For those looking to meet new faces, this year’s first-time Bowerbird stallholders include locals Vika Organic, Cutie Booty Skincare, Daisy & Doug Doggie Co and children-focussed wellbeing brand Brave and Able.

Among the newbies making the journey from afar are Marionette Liqueurs (VIC), plant-care specialists We The Wild (NSW), ceramicist Ana Jensen (VIC), candlemaker Mr Jasper Says (VIC) and Fallowfield Jewellery (QLD).

“Our lineup brings together an incredible community of makers from every corner of Australia,” says Bowerbird owner Peggy Byrne.

“With the last few years so disruptive to small creative businesses, I am thankful our interstate community can join us again. I know how excited they are to come back to Adelaide and how much our local designers are looking forward to reconnecting with them.

“So many great collaborations have come from makers sharing knowledge and experience with each other at Bowerbird. Growing ideas through relationships is a big part of what we do. And of course, I am very excited at the high standard of products from established and emerging makers at this event, which shoppers will soon discover.”

Bowerbird is happening from 13—15 May, with tickets and the full list of stallholders available at the website.
