Blend Etiquette Double Gin Drop
Back in June 2020, we spoke with Blend Etiquette founder Geordan Elliss about the distillery’s latest release gin, Floral as Hell, which was designed to be a gin for the people.

Geordan wanted to make a gin that her sister (a “vodka girl”) would enjoy, so the two could share in Geordan’s passion for gin. She made a “delicate, not too complicated, not too oily” gin with a floral palate.
Geordan’s sister’s reaction to the gin was lukewarm – “She… doesn’t mind it,” Geordan told us at the time – but the gin was a hit amongst the broader spirits industry, receiving a gold medal at the Tasting Australia Spirit Awards in the new-world/contemporary gin category.
With this short history already behind it, Floral as Hell is finally getting a fitting release party, with the Blend Etiquette team taking over The Howling Owl on Saturday, 13 February from 4pm.
There will be pours of Floral as Hell available, as well as a second even newer release: Strangely Savoury. Blend Etiquette’s original drop, Gin Pangolin, will also be available on the night.
Stop in for a G&T, or a martini upstairs, and celebrate the gains of a young South Australian gin brand.
