Applewood Distillery’s Seven Deadly Gins

The brilliant minds behind Applewood Distillery (AKA the other Carter family), have a range of special edition gins up their sleeve, called the Seven Deadly Gins, and you can get yourself a taste this Thursday, 22 February at Thrift Shop Bar.

Applewood Distillery’s Seven Deadly Gins tasting is happening at Thrift Shop Bar on Thursday, 22 February from 5pm.

The gins on display are: Gluttony, a spirit influenced with bacon, maple syrup, cocoa nibs, gentian root, and cinnamon; Greed, a concoction of roasted wattleseed, cloves, earl grey, and green cardamom; Wrath, which brings a range of chilli to your glass; Sloth, featuring Adelaide Hills saffron, star anise, chamomile, and wormwood; Envy, with native Australian thyme, lemon myrtle, and Australian finger limes; Lust, making the most of cherries, macerated raspberries, lavender, vanilla, and star anise; and finally, Pride, a mix of 25 different botanicals, including peppermint gum leaf and saltbush.

Tickets are $60 per head, which includes a tasting of each gin, antipasto, cheese, and tunes from gypsy jazz band, Monsieur Swing. For more information, see here.
