The series is a collaboration between Dave, RCC, the University of Adelaide and Creative Revolutionaries, during which a panel of artists will discuss the role of art and culture in social change and progress.
“I’ve been thinking about what I want my output to be, what that could be or should be, and how different artists or makers approach this responsibility of putting something out into the world and asking people to engage with it,” Dave says.
“Having this exhibition as a part of the RCC program has allowed me the opportunity to literally create conversations around these kind of questions with a range of people I respect and admire.”
For the first event in the AGITATE series, co-hosts Patrick martin and Caitlin Ellen Moore will speak with poster artist Peter Drew and musician Motez.
The talk will happen from 5:30pm ’til 6:30pm at the RCC activation on the University of Adelaide’s North Terrace campus. For more information, see the event page.
