Lion Arts Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide 5000
Exhibition launch event from 4pm-6pm on Saturday, 18 May
Daydreamer Wolf runs until Saturday, 20 July

The Next Wave x ACE Open x Firstdraft co-commission shares Alavi’s story through his experiences as a Hazara refugee and Australian migrant, and has already exhibited in Melbourne and Sydney.

Being his largest body of work to date, Daydreamer Wolf showcases Alavi’s art through a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, documentary video, and poetry. Through this, he explores themes of family, identity, and cultural displacement, offering an unparalleled personal perspective on the refugee experience.

The exhibition launches on Saturday, 18 May from 4pm-6pm, and will remain open to the public until Saturday, 20 July.
