Adelaide's Best

Bank Street Social

Unless you’re really concentrating on your job or something silly, you will have noticed that lots of lovely, small wine and cocktail bars have opened lately.

But what are we sophisticates to do once we get slightly sozzled in these fancy bars and feel the need to dance?

Remarks

27 Bank Street, Adelaide
Open to the public July 19, 2014  from 6pm

Go dance at Bank Street Social. That’s what it’s there for. Finally utilising the cavernous space underneath the less-glamourous extension of Leigh Street that is Bank Street, and with a fit out by the ever-popular Claire Kneebone, Bank Street Social is a late-night club for adults. Friends Shaun Campbell, Simon Orders and Tom Paxton make their debut onto the bar scene with this venue, which specialises in locally-produced spirits, wine and beer. The centrepiece of the bar is the dancefloor at one end, with DJs spinning tunes so we can dance while retaining a shred of our dignity.
