Tickets for 2025's A Day on the Green go on sale today, here's what the lineup looks like.
Lineup announced for A Day on the Green
Melbourne’s The Teskey Brothers are headlining the event, which will be held at Peter Lehmann Wines in the Barossa Valley on it’s South Australian leg.
US rock performers Band of Horses will appear alongside American country singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrel. The festival will mark Band of Horses first Australian shows since 2016, following their 2024 release Acoustic At The Ryman Vol.2.
Irish musician CMAT, who debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Chart in February 2022, will also touch down on SA soil for the festival. This will be the first time the upcoming artist performs in Australia.
Naarm musician Charlie Needs Braces will be appearing, bringing her live looping and original compositions inspired by her Aboriginal heritage and her need for braces. Most impressive. When CityMag needed braces we just ate soup and kept our mouths shut.
The headlining Teskey Brothers return home after touring the United States, United Kingdom and Europe last year.
Member Josh Teskey says it was “a huge thrill to be bringing together some of our favourite acts from around the world” for the festival.
“After many months on tour overseas we are excited to be bringing the show home for this very special A Day On The Green run in January,” he says.
“Honoured to be joined by the epic Band of Horses, always excited to see CMAT and our local favourite Charlie Needs Braces.”
The initial lineup includes no South Australian artists, with just two of the announced five performers being Australian artists.
The 2025 Day on the Green marks the 24th season of the festival, following more than 530 shows over the years.
