Toast to the Season: Golden Boy Cellar’s favourite drinks for spring

The team at Golden Boy's cellar bar offer three drink recommendations for your next trip into the opulent underground drinkery.

Golden Boy Cellar is an exquisite bar, offering finely crafted cocktails amid opulent interior design.

The bar also offers an additional layer of luxury: a short food menu of highlights from the restaurant upstairs.

For the perfect boozy (and non-boozy) accompaniments, try these three Golden Boy pairings.

Lychee Martini

The lychee martini tastes tart and tropical, and pairs perfectly with kingfish sashimi. Each thin slice is dolloped with coconut, kefir and finger lime.

Booze-free

All the fun with none of the booze, this peach and jasmine tea is filled with pomegranate pearls and lychee jelly. For a spicy accompaniment, DIY lettuce cups pack a punch.

Sloe gin sour

The deep-fried soft-shell crab, dressed in scud chilli, pepper and salt, is best harmonised with a sloe gin sour.

Hey Bartender

Ellie Doyle has been part of the Golden Boy family for more than a year. Her ideal knock-off is an (off-menu) Holy Cooler – lychee soda poured over vermouth and garnished with long strands of basil.

Cheers!
