Here’s your quick guide to what’s on the menu when you visit Bowerbird on the first weekend in May.

Chesterfield Whisky Firm
Just crack open and pour these pitch-perfect whisky based cocktails out over ice… and sip. Chesterfield Whisky Firm based up in Woodside is all about ‘experiencing something different’ and these old-timey, medicine-bottle-looking flasks score high on our aestheticometer and give us cause to anticipate the flavour within. A good gift and an excellent pantry item for when unexpected guests call ’round at happy hour.

Dot Chocolate
Raw and real, this incredible looking chocolate is an experience to behold as much as it is to taste. Chocolate, delicately layered with fruit and nuts these bars have an almost Matisse-like composition that get our tastebuds going well before we bite into them.

Grasso Arancino
Pop this on your one-to-try list for the Bowerbird weekend. These hand-rolled arancini balls have a literal designer background with their maker, Annabel Parletta, also designing furniture when she’s not making her, “big fat balls of comfort that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside”.

Lobo Cider
One of the original and definitely one of the best craft cider producers in Adelaide, Lobo Cider from the Adelaide Hills will join Antipodes (sold-out-every-day-last-Bowerbird) Gin Co. and crowd favourites Leabrook behind the bar at this year’s event. Nothing like a spiked, bubbly apple juice to really make you revel in the weekend.

Nutrition Republic
Of course it’s not all gooey balls of comfort and apple cider at Bowerbird and coming from unbelievable success in bricks and mortar on King William Road, Nutrition Republic will be bringing their mature and measured approach to sustenance at Bowerbird Design Market. Designed for those who choose to dine as ethically as they shop, the team from Nutrition Republic will plate up simple and nourishing – predominately plant based options – with all food items being gluten, dairy and refined sugar free.
